THANKS - I CAN GET (BASTION REMIX)

Talk about a fresh funky dance jam! It’s been out for a couple weeks now, but I couldn’t let this one go unnoticed. While I hadn’t heard the original “I Can Get” by Danish duo THANKS until being sent this, I’m now a fan of both the original and this hyped up bouncy retro French Electro/House edit from Parisian duo BASTION. This is the kind of jam that I feel would even earn the respect of funk masters like James Brown, Parliament-Funkadelic, and the Ohio Players. Excuse me while I get down in my kitchen to this right now.

MIDNIGHT FACES - HEAVENLY BODIES (FRED FALKE REMIX)

French disco house and funk master Fred Falk quietly released this remix a few days ago, so quietly in fact that is almost slipped under my radar! Good thing I have a pool party in SF coming up with this legend and was pulling some music for event posts when I saw this gem! Fred Falke has spread his rich funky flavor all over this remix of "Heavenly Bodies" by Midnight Faces! Delicious! GEORGE MAPLE - TALK (DJ SNAKE REMAKE)

The next single is out from French producer and dance music legend DJ Snake, and it's yummy! A few years back I was lucky enough to do some hangs with the ever so brilliant George Maple at CMJ - she was in New York showcasing her band for the first time in the US, and my bestie Touch Sensitive was playing them keys! "Talk Talk" was my jam that fall, I was loving everything about George Maple - still do! DJ Snake has taken her sultry vocals and re-created "Talk" as an electro house tropical infuzed dance floor gem that we are loving! This is the second single released from his debut album coming out later this year! Mad props!

All I want to do today is listen to French DJs and forget about having the Mondays! It's my lucky day I guess, because Darius released this sick remix of "Time" by Jungle. THIS is pretty much as good as it gets with signature Darius french house disco groove, I am literally swooning!! This is the perfect early afternoon pic-me-up kids...listen and love!

Oh yeeaaa -- new Zimmer track means new summertime vibes! This French house producer happens to be one of our favorite people around, he makes us laugh very much.  This muffin is the king of Nu-Disco feels, and "Escape ft.
